Derek King TTM Mail Day
King's claim to fame was playing in 800+ NHL games and getting drafted in the first round of the entry draft. King had some solid seasons with the Islanders in the early to mid 90's. He hung on to pro hockey until 2004, playing minor pro for the last half decade of his career.
King is currently an assistant coach with the Toronto Marlies.
Another Topps setter down! It's taking me a long time to get anywhere with this set, although I hope to finish it one day down the road.

Craig Anderson TTM Mail Day
I always respect a goalie who battles hard and Anderson is one of those goalies. He led an Ottawa team who was predicted to not make the playoffs, into the playoffs.
Anderson is a goalie who is capable of stealing games and I thought he was amazing in limited duty with the Panthers. You could tell how bad he wanted to be a number one goalie in the NHL and he fought hard for the starters role.
Anderson is also a great signer through the mail and his response time is much faster than most current NHL players.
I sent this requested right to the Ottawa Senators.

Bobby Baun TTM Mail Day
I thought this one was long gone! After being out for almost two years, this card finally returns to me signed!
A fellow collector on another forum I'm part of mentioned that he recently met Baun and told him how much people enjoy getting his signature. I'm not sure if this made him start signing again, however I have seen a lot of people getting successes back from him.
Baun is most famous for scoring a Stanley cup winning goal on a broken ankle.

Matt Capps TTM Autograph Mail Day
I sent these out a couple of years back to Spring Training while Capps was with the Pirates. It was about two years ago that I last sent off a regular batch of baseball requests. I plan on sending more out this year once I get some US stamps!
Ian Turnbull TTM Autograph
The former Leaf signed two cards for me. Turnbull holds the record for the most goals by a D-Man in an NHL game with an incredible 5!

Chris Simon TTM Mail Day
Simon had all the potential in the world to be a top power forward in the league and could never put it together, although he did enjoy a few good NHL seasons. He most recently played in the KHL and could be done after a poor season.
I did enjoy his style of play and he was a force for the Capitals in the late 90's.
Ryan Miller TTM Mail Day
Alright, I'm back after an almost two month break from the hobby for personal reasons! I have some catching up to do with autographs I got in the mail.
I'm not the worlds biggest Miller fan, however I needed the Parkhurst as a setter. Too bad he signed the plastic on the card and not the card itself. He sent along two other cards, which does not ease the pain of coming so close to getting a setter signed!
My major beef with Miller is that he talks like a big boy for a guy who has never won any major championship before. You can run your mouth all you want and be outspoken once you have a Stanley Cup Ring, an Olympic Gold Medal, even a World Championship!

Matt Capps TTM Mail Day
It's not very often I get a baseball success. This one was sent out maybe two years ago and I have no idea where it got sent to.
I'm happy to see these back as I'm casually working on the heritage set. I hope to send out more baseball TTM's this season.
Troy Gamble TTM Mail Day
An AMAZING TTM success. Gamble has been tough to track down. I have wanted to get his 'graph since I started TTM collecting about eight years ago.
Sadly,I have heard through the Internet community that Gamble's son was killed in Afghanistan. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family if this is true.
Gamble retired in the mid 90's after finishing his career with the Houston Aero's. He is still living in Houston today.

Sergio Momesso TTM Mail Day
Sergio Momesso never fully lived up to the hype from his junior days. He did manage to put together a decent enough career, mainly finding success with the Canucks.
Momesso signed in dreaded ball point pen, although I am never one to complain about getting an autograph.

Vincent Damphousse TTM Mail day
A pretty good success, Damphousse had a good career, although his little hic-up post career with his wife may have tarnished his reputation.
Not sure why I sent all Habs cards! I guess I wasn't thinking at the time as I would have liked to get a Sharks card signed seeing as I already have a Leafs one signed from a previous submission.

Pat Riggin TTM Mail Day
I pulled this card as a kid in one of those mix packs from Toys'r'us, just like the Bob Froese card. It's been sitting collecting dust ever since and I figured it would look nice signed. I'm glad I got around to sending this card out as it looks great signed.
I'm still catching up with mail, you will be seeing a few more TTM successes posted in the next few days.

Paul MacLean TTM Mail Day
Current head coach of the Ottawa Senators! Another card to knock off my 90-91 Topps list. I am glad he got the job with Ottawa because before I had no idea where this guy was!
Not a bad player back in his day, MacLean once posted 100+ points for the Jets back in the mid 1980's!

Ryan Walter TTM Success

Another topps success! This one came with a note about Mr. Walters new book and a link to the site. I figure since he signed my card, I should at least promote his book. I checked out the site and the book looks pretty interesting. I wonder if my library will be getting it!

TTM Autograph Mail Day: Doug Lidster
Not the prettiest signature in the world, but I'm not complaining! Another 90-91 Topps to cross off my list.
I have been working on this Topps set for around four years now and I have approximately 35% of the 396 card set done. Luckily I got most of the easy guys done early, although now I'm stuck with the tougher cards. I have no idea how I will get guys like Gretzky, Roy, Lemieux, Bourque. For those I'm sure I will have to pay a considerable amount. Maybe I'll get lucky and somehow manage to get them for free. Not likely.
It would be nice to get to 50% for this set by the end if the year.

Todd Elik TTM Mail Day
After a lengthy pro hockey career playing for plenty of teams, I tracked Elik down to working Real Estate. He has been out of pro hockey for just two years now after a career that spanned over 23 season! Incredible.
I'm the most happy about landing this Topps card for 90-91 Topps set that I am slowly working on still.
A very happy mail day indeed!
Bob Froese TTM Mail Day
I pulled this card as a kid from one of those mixed clam shell card packs of 100 assorted hockey cards. These packs mainly featured a mixture of mass produced early 90's product. When I pulled this card I always thought it was worth a lot of money considering it's age.
This card has been sitting around and I thought it would look a lot better autographed, so I tracked down an address for Froese and got this card back pretty quick!

Pat Jablonski TTM Autograph Mail Day
I have wanted to get a few autographs into my collection of Pat Jablonski and I finally got around to sending out some cards. The three cards above come from a few sets I really liked as a kid and I'm happy to get them back signed.
Another card for my "goalies of the 90's" set. It's the third one I've gotten and I hope more are to come in the mail!
I made a goalie of the 90's chase card and I think I might like it better then the regular version. It would have been cool of I could have made the card look more metallic with a foil look. At this point my card making abilities are not quite there.

Wade Flaherty TTM Success
This is the second "goalies of the 90's" return I have had since I sent these customs out! Flaherty is now the goalie coach of the Winnipeg Jets after bouncing around the NHL & Minors for a substantial amount of time.
Looks like Flaherty got scored on again in this card with San Jose. I am sure there was a lot of those FML type nights with a developing Sharks squad.
I am happy to get these two back as I wanted a Flaherty signature in my collection for quite some time now.

TTM Mail Day Todd Gill & Tomas Vokoun
This Vokoun has been out for a while, maybe two years. Vokoun's signature looks rough like he speed signed the card and probably about a thousand others. Still, I'm happy he signed.
Now on to some Todd Gill cards, former NHL d-man and current coach of the Frontenacs:
What do these three cards have in common? They come from three of my favourite sets as a kid: 92-93 score, 95-96 score and 95-96 topps. I easily busted 200+ packs from these three sets as a kid.
